Rieker Holding AG is a Swiss shoe manufacturer based in Thayngen. Founded in 1874 in the Black Forest, the company is now in its fifth generation of family ownership. Rieker currently employs around 20,000 people worldwide, particularly in Morocco, Romania, Slovakia, Tunisia and Vietnam, where its own production facilities are located. The Swiss company supplies around 9,000 independent retailers, mainly in Europe, with shoes and accessories.
