Customers in Germany are supplied with the complete range from the distribution centre in K\u00fcnzelsau and can collect a partial range from the 35 branches throughout the country.<\/p>\n<h2>The task<\/h2>\n<p>The aim was to develop a service-orientated strategy for the entire distribution process from supplier to customer. The core part was the marketing concept, which provided for the delivery of goods by W\u00fcrth&#8217;s own distribution organisation, the &#8220;W\u00fcrth Super Service&#8221;, in order to strengthen customer loyalty.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comparison of alternative main transport, handling and distribution strategies for Germany<\/li>\n<li>Process cost analysis in the sense of a preliminary calculation and as a controlling instrument after implementation<\/li>\n<li>Support in the implementation of turnover points and the organisation of self-propelled transport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>The solution<\/h2>\n<p>The &#8220;W\u00fcrth Super Service&#8221; was designed and realised on the basis of the above-mentioned analysis (main \/ on-carriage, handling, etc.):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pre-carriage from the K\u00fcnselsau distribution centre to W\u00fcrth&#8217;s or the transport company&#8217;s own handling points<\/li>\n<li>Approx. 30 turnover points from 200 &#8211; 1,000 square metres under W\u00fcrth control: handling, vehicle scheduling, returns management<\/li>\n<li>Trained self-drivers (1-3 vehicles) in W\u00fcrth overalls and vehicles with W\u00fcrth logo<\/li>\n<li>Customer consignment stock, logistics box, rack jobbing and other special logistics services at the customer&#8217;s premises<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new &#8220;W\u00fcrth Super Service&#8221; distribution organization is characterized by a distinctive delivery service.
